Rihanna named the richest female musician, seconded by Madonna

Forbes reported on Tuesday that the American singer, Rihanna is the world richest female musician.

The announcement was made a Day after "Jay-z" was named the first Hip Hop's billionaire.

The superstar has amassed an eye-popping fortune worth $600 million thanks to her Grammy-winning music career and wildly successful Fenty Beauty brand


According to the Forbes magazine which was released  on Tuesday, Robyn Rihanna Fenty have over $600 million while Madonna seconds with a total of $570 Million and Celine Dion being the third richest female musician with a net worth of $450,000.

Beyoncé was not left out on the track as she was placed as the 4th richest female musician having a total of $400,000

Forbes magazine revealed the 31-year-old R&B/Pop icon from Barbados has an estimated fortune of $600 million which puts Rihanna's net worth ahead of Madonna ($570 million), Céline Dion ($450 million), and Beyoncé ($400 million).



While Rihanna became a global superstar because of #1 hits such as "Umbrella," "Rude Boy," "We Found Love," and "Work," it's her reported 15% ownership in Fenty Beauty cosmetics that plays the biggest part in the entertainer being $400 million away from billionaire status. Fenty Beauty is worth approximately $3 billion.

Additionally, the 9-time Grammy winner recently announced a new fashion brand with LVMH, the company that owns around 50% of Fenty Beauty.
