New Update: NCDC announce Fresh 2314 Covid-19 cases in the Country

As second wave of Covid-19 pandemic continues to trail Nigerians, the Nigeria centre for Disease control, NCDC announced fresh report of number of positive cases.

It reported on the 23rd day of January, 2021, that the country recorded thousands of coronavirus cases on Friday. Giving the report via twitter, it said that 2314 people tested positive to Covid-19 test and those affected have been isolated to receive proper treatment and care from health practitioners in 24 States where the cases were recorded.

Giving the data on Saturday afternoon, NCDC posted a photo showcasing the total number of Covid-19 recorded cases, number of deaths and number of recovered cases. 

The photo was tagged with data showing the breakdown of states and their different number of new cases. Lagos state have a total number of 831 new cases, Kaduna - 545, Abuja - 235, Plateau-127, Nasarawa - 80, Oyo-72, Delta state-65, Rivers-64, Kano-46, Ogun-46, Bayelsa-30, Gombe-30, Abia-28, Osun-27, Edo-25, Ondo-14, Sokoto-12, Zamfara-10, Bauchi-8, Imo-5, Jigawa-4, Ekiti-4, Borno-4, Niger-2.
