Young Man who helped Gang to Kidnap His Father Gets N200,000 commission

The Nigerian Police force, Abuja Command have arrested a 20-Year-old Man for giving a helping hand to kidnappers in the abduction of his own father.

Police Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, told newsmen that the young man connived with the kidnapping gang to abduct his biological Dad and after requested for a ransom of 2 Million naira.

Talking about his role in the criminal act, Abubakar Amodu, on Wednesday said that his Dad was a herdsman and had given him 15 cows for a start.

Torixus learnt that the cow owner, Abubakar Amodu and 25 other individuals were paraded by the police PRO on wednesday, 20 January, 2021.

Amodu confused that he became a close friends to the gang members, who convinced him that his father needed to be kidnapped because he was rich.

“After we kidnapped my father, he paid N2m and I was given N200,000 as my share.” he said.

Also in the news, the Special Tactical Squad of the Inspector-General of Police apprehended suspected kidnappers who have been terrorising Ahmadu Bello University, ABU.

Torixus confirmed that the Nigerian police force arrested one of the workers of the institution working at the security department, Aliyu Abubakar, for providing information to kidnappers who have been terrorising the school.
