Niger Abduction: They Are Not Bandits, They Are Terrorists, Senator Laments


A Nigerian Senator who is representing Niger East senatorial district, Sen. Sani Musa, has lamented bitterly over the attacks going on in Niger state.


The Nigerian politician, Mohammed Sani Musa, said he don't refer people who are perpetuating series of attacks in 9 local Government area in his senatorial district as bandits. He said they are terrorists and not bandits.


He made the comment in Federal capital territory on Wednesday, while been interviewed on Channels TV.


"Almost all local government in my senatorial district had been attacked. Worst of it is Rafi local Government where the Government science college kagara is situated." He said.


He further stated that there are two local Government under his district where there have been consistent attacks by so-called bandits. He said there is no presence of anyone in that place aside bandits.  


"I don't call them bandits, I call them terrorists." He said.


Torixus had reported that over 27 students of Government Science College in Kagara, Rafi local Government area of Niger state were abducted by bandits. The bandits released a short video clip showing the abducted students on the floor.
