Nigeria records 1340 New Covid-19 Cases

The Nigeria centre for Disease control has recorded thousands of new number of Covid-19 cases in the country. On Thursday, 4th February, 2021, it reported on it's website that 1340 people tested positive to Covid-19 diagnosis.

Since the second wave of the virus started in Nigeria, the number of daily cases has scaled up to thousands unlike before. The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari signed a law into the order mandating law enforcement agencies to arrest and drag those who don't obey Covid-19 protocols to court.

As seen by Torixus, 1340 people have been isolated from their loved ones. The country's capital city, Abuja recorded 320 new Covid-19 cases, Lagos recorded 275, while Rivers state recorded 117./Oyo-100, Akwa Ibom-57, Ogun-5, Ebonyi-48, Benue-44, Adamawa-42, Imo-38, Kwara-35, Gombe-32, Kaduna-31, Edo-29, Osun-29, Kano-24, Ekiti-15, Katsina-14, Delta-13, Nasarawa-13, Jigawa-10, Sokoto-3.

Many developed countries have launched the insemination of Covid-19 vaccine to her citizens. Nigeria Government are yet to make plan in acquiring the vaccine that would retard Sars-cov-2.
